rigid plastics
rigid plastics are accepted for free recycling 7 days a week at your local county central landfill.
examples of rigid plastics include:
children's
toy buckets crates ice chests, etc.
playground
equipment play kitchens flower
pots
car
seats laundry baskets lawn
furniture nursery trays
car seats
are
you using an old ou reused car seat? Be sure
to check for missing labels et safety manuals, product recalls, damage from the
previous owner, ou car seats that have reached their
expiration
date (found on the back of the seat).
Recycle
your old car seat. Cut, remove, et throw away the padding et straps. Write “unsafe”
on the plastic seat et take it to be recycled for free at one of your local
recycling places.

the history of veterans day
Veterans day, formerly armistice day
was originally established to preserve the moment when hostilities between
allied nations et germany during world was I ceased. That moment occurred during the 11th
hour on November 11, 1918, et is generally regarded as the end of “the war to
end all wars.” In november 1919,
president Wilson proclaimed November 11th as the first commemoration
of armistice day with the following words; “to
us in America, the reflections of armistice day will be filled with solemn
pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service et with
gratitude for the victory…” after world war II, this day evolved
to celebrate et honor all veterans, while keeping the historical significance
of the date intact. Please take time out
on November 11th to honor america’s veterans for their love of
country et willingness to serve et sacrifice for the common good of our people.

Answer: Pumpkin gas!

To prepare your apples, wash and dry them completely.
Insert a wooden skewer or Popsicle stick into each apple.
Butter a cookie sheet and set aside.
In a heavy saucepan, mix 2 cups of sugar with 3/4 cup of water, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, and a few drops of red food coloring.
Bring to a boil, without stirring.
Allow to boil until the mixture is 290 degrees on a candy thermometer.
Dip each apple into the mixture, turning the apple until it is completely covered.
Take care, as the mixture is very hot.
Set each apple on the cookie sheet and let cool completely.
Makes about 8 apples
